To say that Careity is a
successful organization would
be a gross understatement.
In all my years of practice I
have never run across a nonprofit
organization with more
depth and accomplishments.
Careity believes in completing
the task at hand and when it
comes to saving lives that is
an incredibly long road for
many of our citizens. Last year
alone Careity provided over 3
million dollars of direct patient
services, 4 million dollars in
chemotherapy grants and over
7, 000 patient visits.
Careity presence has
brought a true sense of
compassion to local cancer
patients. The journey for these
patients is often long and
lonely.
Careity addresses the
concerns of our community
by being involved in the
community and taking care of
those less fortunate.
Persons and their loved
ones making the journey
through cancer and residing
in their service area are
grateful for the compassion
and concern provided through
the dedication of all the
Careity staff. It starts with the
quick response to provide
cost free early detection
services to those in need
and continues through the
complex journey that follows
a cancer diagnosis. Many
times this includes surgery
and chemotherapy and all

the procedures that go with
this diagnosis. It takes social
workers, cancer navigators,
chaplains, and other
clinical staff to step in with
compassion and dedication to
be on this winning team.
Careity has a unique
approach to all that they
do, including an exceptional
outreach to the community.
The leaders of this
organization spend countless
hours and are tireless,
when it comes to not only
spreading their mission, but
also being totally involved in
this community. They have
extraordinary energy and
creativity towards making
a positive impact on those
in this community who are
in need of care and those
who are willing to volunteer
to support the mission.
The long-term community
support, both financially and
volunteer wise, shows the
acceptance and trust that
they have garnered through
many years of dedication and
community involvement.

As the largest independent
provider of breast health
services in the country,
Solis Mammography works
with many organizations
that provide breast care to
uninsured and under-insured
women. It’s an important part
of our promise to provide
greater access to quality
mammography screening
and diagnostic services to
generations of women in
every community we serve.
Careity Foundation continues
to be one of the most creative
and passionate organizations
with whom we work, and we
couldn’t be more grateful for
their partnership.
Careity’s exceptional
outreach has made
mammography available
to a significant number of
North Texas women who
have previously had little to
no access to the benefits
of early detection through
annual screenings. Without
their work, many women
would never have had their
breast cancer diagnosed – or
it would have been discovered
at a much more advanced
stage. Careity’s ongoing
efforts in early detection will
continue to offer women
more cancer treatment
options that preserve quality
of life, while reducing
morbidity and expense.

many of our local Solis
Mammography centers to
provide no-cost mammogram
screenings to economicallychallenged
women over the
past 10 years. Their advocacy
has been instrumental in
spreading the word about
the importance of getting
an annual screening, which
means that all women,
regardless of economic
status, are now benefiting.
Solis Mammography is
honored to work with Careity
Foundation to advance
the cause of breast health
awareness and the early
detection of breast cancer.
Our dedication to providing a
better mammogram through
state-of-the-art technology
and specialized diagnostic
expertise, along with Careity’s
active and compassionate
approach to service, are
ensuring that more women in
our North Texas communities
have access to the breast
health care and support they
deserve.
